CONCERT TOUR OF IRELAND
This summer, the San Jose Wind Symphony embarks on a three-city tour of Ireland, playing joint concerts with local ensembles in Limerick, Cork and Dublin. The SJWS portion of the program showcases classic and contemporary American music, including Gershwin’s An American in Paris, Ticheli’s Acadiana, Mackey’s This Cruel Moon and marches by Fillmore and Sousa. Our soloist is percussion virtuoso Galen Lemmon, who performs Paul Creston’s groundbreaking Concero for Marimba. We hope you can join us!
